Largemouth Bass: Good, green pumpkin worms and lizards, trick worms and lizards fishing Carolina rigs, Texas rigs, spinnerbaits and jerkbaits around shrubs and brush in 3 to 4 feet of water. Points and secondary points in 3 to 10 feet of water. Good catches around points with topwater plugs.
Striped Bass: Fair, fishing with free-lining herring and topwater plugs, Sammy’s and Pencil Poppers.
Crappie: Fair, using minnows and jigs around brush piles in 8 to 15 feet of water and casting jigs. White Perch: Good, jigging with small spoons in 8 to 20 feet of water jigs and redworms.
Catfish: Excellent, using cut herring and nightcrawlers on bottom. Bream: Excellent, casting beetle spins in white with red dot colors. Also try fishing redworms and crickets in 1 to 10 feet of water.
Bream are bedding. Shellcracker: Good, using redworms and blueworms in 1 to 10 feet of water.
